JP got his start in the enterprise and spent the better part of his formative years designing intranets for pharmaceutical and financial services companies in the Philadelphia area. In 2007 JP formed 30Points with the goal of bringing his enterprise-class consulting experience to small and medium-sized businesses. After joining Cognis, 30Points has changed function to serve as JP's Tawp Sekrit Laboratory supporting his side projects. You can check out some of his projects on GitHub.

In his spare time JP enjoys building robots, baking pies, and building robots that bake pies. 

JP is the co-organizer of Barcamp Philly and participates in other community focused groups such as Philly ALT.NET, Philly.NET, Philly.rb, and a couple other ad hoc groups helping to bring new media and technology awareness to Philadelphia.
